Optimal Perturbation Technique within the Asymptotic Iteration Method for Heavy-Light Meson Mass Splittings

For further insight into the perturbation technique within framework of asymptotic iteration method (PAIM), we suggest this to be used as an alternative traditional well-known techniques. We show by means very simple algebraic manipulations that PAIM can directly applied obtain symbolic expectation value any perturbed potential piece without using eigenfunction unperturbed problem. One fundamental advantages is its ability extract a reference or pieces from total Hamiltonian which solved exactly AIM. After all, one easily compute values remaining pieces. As example, present scheme semi-relativistic wave equation with harmonic-oscillator implemented Fermi–Breit terms. In particular, non-trivial Dirac delta function, and momentum-dependent orbit–orbit coupling terms are successfully calculated. Results then used, illustration, s-wave heavy-light meson masses. good agreement experimental data for mass splittings cu¯, cd¯, cs¯, bu¯, bd¯, bs¯.
